PUTUTI & NESTY MAKE HISTORY BRINGING REPARTO TROPICAL TO THE 2026 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

PUTUTI & NESTY made history at the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards in Miami, bringing reparto tropical to television for the first time. Making their awards show debut, the Cuban duo shared the stage with Erick Brian to perform “Efímero” and a reparto rendition of “El Doctorado,” the hit originally recorded by Tony Dize. The performance marked a major moment for the genre, introducing one of Cuba's most distinctive contemporary sounds to a broader international audience.

The performance represents a significant milestone for reparto, a genre born in the neighborhoods of Cuba that draws from the island's rich musical traditions and urban influences. As part of a new generation of artists bringing the movement beyond the island, Pututi & Nesty have developed a sound that blends reparto with elements of conga, rumba, and timba while remaining connected to their Cuban roots.

The historic appearance comes amid growing success on the charts. Their single “Los Despechaos” featuring Tito El Bambino reached No. 8 on Billboard's Latin Rhythm Airplay chart, climbing from its debut at No. 22 and marking the duo's first entry on the chart. The achievement reflects their expanding presence on U.S. Latin radio and the growing reach of their music.

Signed to Warner Music Latina, Pututi & Nesty continue to expand their international presence. Both artists have earned individual Latin GRAMMY nominations and are helping introduce Cuban reparto to new audiences while bringing the island's musical traditions into a contemporary urban sound.

With their Billboard Latin Music Awards debut and first Top 10 hit on Latin Rhythm Airplay, Pututi & Nesty mark a milestone that extends beyond their own careers, bringing Cuban reparto tropical to one of Latin music's biggest stages.
